7 SIMPLE STEPS TO PREVENT CANCER

1Do not Smoke Cigarettes>>

The National Cancer Institute estimates that lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death among men and women in the USA Furthermore, 90% of lung cancer death among men and 80% of lung cancer death among women are due to smoking. Beside this, smoking also causes cancers of kidney, bladder, esophagus, cervix, bladder, stomach, pancreas, and acute myeloid leukemia. In addition, cigarette smoking associated with increased risk of cardio-vascular disease, heart attack, premature birth and low birth-weight infants. Cigarettes smoke contains arsenic, cadmium, formaldehyde-cancer causing agents.


2Maintain Adequate Iodine Levels>>

Iodine is found in every cell of our body, we can not live without it, we can not manufacture it, so we have to get it from our diet.

Iodine is essential for the glandular tissues, especially thyroid, ovaries, breast, and prostate. When iodine is deficient, the glandular tissue begins to change. The first step is formation of cysts in the tissue. If iodine deficiency continues to be present or getting worse, tumor formation starts. The end stage of iodine deficiency is cancer. The good news is that both animals and human studies have found that iodine can halt or reverse this cell progression to cancer.

Combination of iodine and iodide can help glandular tissue to maintain normal cell growth. Average doses for iodine and iodide supplementation is 12-25mg per day. However, damaged tissue will require more-50mg per day.


3Avoid Synthetic Chemicals>>

You know that you are what you eat, so if you eat toxic chemicals, what do you expect? It is very important to avoid synthetic hormones and antibiotics that used to speed growth of conventionally raised animals. The problem is these chemicals make it to our plate.

These hormones found in conventionally raised meat, chicken, dairy products and farmed fish. But they are not found in free- range cattle and chickens. We use too many pesticides and herbicides in our crops, especially dangerous soy and soy products (not organic). Soy inhibits activity of digestive enzymes and production of thyroid hormones. 5Watch For Heavy Metals>>

High levels of mercury (from dental filings and fish, such as tuna, shark, and swordfish) are associated with depressed immune system an increased possibility of cancer development.


6Avoid Radiation Exposure>>

Ionized radiation used in medical radiological tests is known as a carcinogen. Tests that use that type of radiation are: X-rays, dental X-rays, CT, and PET scan. All of these procedures expose the body to radiation that can damage DNA of the cells. Damaged DNA can lead to the growth of cancer.
