If you are trying lose weight keep your bedroom cool. Chilly bedrooms stimulate the body to produce healthy fat-burning brown fat, researchers found. They had men sleep in climate-controlled bedrooms for four months- one month at a neutral 75 degree, one month at chilly 66 degrees, one month at 81 degrees, one month again at 75 degrees. Their brown fat levels were measured at the end of each month. They found that men who slept at 66 degree almost double their brown fat level, and they burned more calories each day.
