Acetil-L Carnitine and carnitine should not be taken by patients with history of epilepsy and bipolar (maniac disease), do not take it in the evening, generally speaking exercises will increase level of Acetyl-L Carnitine but not to the level that we need, so supplementation is necessary.
Coenzyme Q10- ubiquinone is powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, it works synergistically with carnitine, acetyl-l carnitine, ALA to enhance energy production in the mitochondria of all cells, especially in cells of heart and brain, also it will facilitate weight loss. Coenzyme Q10 is very important for cardiovascular system, it protects heart and arterial walls by preventing inflammation that is contributing factor in arteriosclerosis development.
Coenzyme Q10 can be found in small amounts in food such as sardines, salmon and nuts, so supplementation is necessary.
